Young Enterprise for Prep pupils

This year we are undertaking the Young Enterprise scheme with pupils in the Prep classes, in order to develop their skills as potential future entrepreneurs! The pupils have embarked upon a rolling programme of projects that will enable them to develop their leadership skills, as they each resume responsibility of their group at some point over the year. By working on these projects, the pupils will develop critical life skills in cooperative working, strategic thinking, problem-solving, financial management, advertising and marketing.

New Primary School Opens

It is a particularly exciting start to the school year, as we look forward to welcoming the Primary School pupils to their fantastic new premises. The teachers have been busy preparing their classrooms and we are sure that there will be lots of 'oohs and ahhs' as the children see the new facilities. Once the pupils have settled into the school, in the next few weeks, we look forward to inviting parents for a good 'look around'!

External Exam Results 2016 (Provisional)

Congratulations to our pupils on their success in this year’s external examination session. The IGCSE/GCSE results this year are a new school record, with 85% of entries achieving A*/A (61% A*), and 99% A* - C. 17 of the 26 pupils sitting IGCSE/GCSEs gained 5 A*s or more. At A level the pass rate (A-E) was 100%, with 58% achieving A*/A grades and 93% achieving A* - C. Aztecs Day, 13.06.16 The J2 pupils enjoyed dressing up as Aztecs from all levels of society. Delicious Aztec treats were enjoyed by all during picnic time. Junior school pupils were taken around the school's 2016 Art Exhibition this morning. Miss Coupe explained the work to them as well as some of the processes involved in producing the Art. The young pupils were fascinated, asked some interesting questions and had some equally fascinating ideas about the meaning of some of the pieces!

Congratulations to our Year 4 Primary pupil Samar Anand who was one of 12 children island wide to achieve a Gold medal in this year’s Maths Olympiad. Samar will be awarded his medal at an award ceremony in Nicosia next week.
