On Monday 18th April 2016, the J2s went on a school trip to the Road Safety and Police Museum in Nicosia. The visit involved an indoor lecture on road safety, a conducted tour of the museum as well as the opportunity for pupils to acquire practical skills as pedestrians and cyclists. This was practised through the use of small cars with pedals or bicycles at the Road Safety Park, which was a simulation of an urban road network. At the end of the trip, children were given a gift of a helmet or a cap, as well as reflective wrist bands in order to help them enforce what they had learnt in everyday life. A good time was had by all!
