DESCRIPTION:Olympic and Commonwealth Games Gymnast, Marios Georgiou, presents the trophies at Sports Day.It was a great honour to have Marios Georgiou, one of Cyprus’ most successful and famous sportsmen, present the trophies at this year’s Sports Day.Marios won gold medals in the floor and parallel bars disciplines and the bronze medal in the individual all-around event at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. He was also a finalist in the 2016 Olympics in Rio. Marios’ presence topped off an exciting Sports Day which was held, for the first time this year, at the school’s brand new stadium.\nMany thanks to Marios for taking time out of training to be with us and especially for bringing along his Commonwealth Games medals for the pupils to see!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
