SUMMARY:Clean Up Cyprus – Eco G Club 2022
DESCRIPTION:The Eco -G club was newly formed this year. It brings together pupils from F4 – U6 who share a common passion for protecting our planet and trying to make our school a greener place. Our main aim this year has been to try and make the recycling of paper and plastic part of our everyday school life. Despite the problems posed by COVID, the group has produced presentations and assemblies for their fellow pupils to stress the importance of acting now. The group has decorated and installed special new recycling bins around the school. It also organized a clean up operation at Yermasoyia nature trail on Sunday April 10th, where about 40 pupils helped collect a huge variety of rubbish, ranging from plastic bottles and fishing debris to a child’s abandoned sit -on tractor!!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
