Some highlights from the Drama department’s
trip to London during February’s half term! The Form 4 and 5 GCSE Drama pupils
accompanied by Ms Agrotis and Ms Lucas had the opportunity to take part in a
skills based workshop at Shakespeare’s Globe and received a private tour by
leading professionals of both The Globe and The National Theatre. Furthermore,
they attended an array of performances ranging from a contemporary comedy,
whereby the pupils met the actors! A musical, and discovered the world of immersive
theatre. Whilst they explored the pioneering London theatre scene, they also
enjoyed the vibrant life of the capital, observed street performances and
attended a few hand crafted stalls from the traditional Covent Garden market to
the more urban Camden Town.
