Pre-Reception and Reception Classes
Each Pre-Reception and Reception Class has a bright, colourful classroom space. Due to the nature of learning at this stage, there are carpeted areas, clusters of tables for when our children are working on focused tasks, but plenty of space for the children to play and rotate around the areas of learning set out. Greek and English resources are used in Pre-Reception as the day’s curriculum is delivered in both languages at this stage and is in the care of two members of staff.
The Early Years department not only enjoy their own equipped playground space but also a generously sized Atrium space where the areas of learning are set up for the children to enjoy. For instance, water play, sand play, construction, imaginative play including dressing up, singing, puppet role play and focused activities at tables.
