Lions International Peace Poster Contest:
Many Congratulations to our F1 pupil Nefeli Galatariotis.
Foley’s once again had the opportunity to participate in the Lions International Peace Poster Contest, which has been an annual competition for over three decades. This year’s theme was, “We Are All Connected”.
With her stunning poster, Nefeli won the first prize in the National Competition, which was open to pupils from all schools in Cyprus.
The poster has now been entered in the International Contest, with students from all around the globe.
“In my poster, all races are putting together a puzzle made up of different countries – without any conflict, without any violence.” Nefeli said.
“To me, peace is the state of harmony and the sense of togetherness in our community. No fights or negativity, only calmness, sunshine and smiles, blue skies and chirping birds. I believe peace, is when everybody is united, sharing love, no matter the differences between them.“
