Infants
Infants classrooms are designed to support active and enjoyable learning. Cosy carpeted areas and book corners provide inviting spaces for reading, discussion and group activities, while displays highlight pupils’ achievements and creativity.
Classrooms are well-resourced and equipped with modern interactive flatscreen panels, supporting engaging lessons for both whole-class and small-group learning. Outdoor areas include shaded spaces outside classrooms and a large, covered playground for safe play and social interaction.
Juniors
The Junior Department provides a stimulating environment where pupils develop confidence, curiosity and independence. Lessons are supported by interactive flatscreen panels, while displays celebrate pupils’ work and achievements.
Pupils benefit from specialist facilities that enhance learning. ICT, including coding, is taught in a dedicated suite where each pupil has their own workstation. Science is taught through practical investigation in a well-equipped laboratory-style classroom, and creative subjects are supported by a specialist Art Room and Music Rooms, with opportunities to take part in concerts, choirs and performances.
Prep
The Prep Department builds on pupils’ academic and personal development as they prepare for the next stage of their education. Pupils make full use of specialist facilities, including the Secondary ICT suites, Art studios, and Music Rooms.
Sport plays a central role in school life, supported by excellent facilities including an astroturf multi-purpose pitch, 300m all-weather running track, sports hall, indoor gymnasium, and a 25m swimming pool. Pupils take part in a wide range of sports, competitions and extracurricular activities, promoting teamwork, resilience and a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity.
