Prep Geography Field Trip – Kritou Terra

Another brilliant Geography field trip to Kritou Tera for both Prep classes and their teachers in November 2016! This 3-day trip included many new adventures and experiences for everyone, as you can see from the lovely pictures. The Environmental Study Centre in the heart of Kritou Terra village included teaching and discussions where the children were able to learn more about different types of water, waterfalls, rivers and coastal erosion. The children had a great time putting on their wellington boots and getting active, measuring the width and depth of rivers. Everyone enjoyed visiting sites where the children had various activities to complete and later discuss their interesting findings. The exhilarating hike through the Avakas Gorge in the stunning area of Akamas was truly a treat for all!
